Yes, we use firearm-specific designs, with each holster moulded around an exact 3D-printed replica of the firearm for a precise fit and reliable retention. We have the largest firearm mould collection in South Africa. If we don’t have a mould for your firearm, we will source one or use the closest available replica to ensure the best possible fit. Please always select the correct firearm model when placing your order.
2. Is it left-handed or right-handed?
Yes. When placing your holster order, either online or with one of our team members, please specify whether you require a left- or right-hand draw. This refers to the hand you use to draw your firearm, not the side on which you wear the holster. There is no additional charge for your preferred draw orientation.
3. Are your holsters suitable for everyday carry?
Yes. Our holsters are designed for comfort, security and daily use, making them suitable for everyday carry, hunting and sport shooting.
4. Will my leather holster stretch?
Premium full-grain leather will naturally conform slightly to your firearm over time, but with proper care it should continue providing excellent retention for many years.
5. Is the holster handmade?
Yes, we have a team of experienced artisans who handcraft all our leather products, ensuring exceptional quality, attention to detail, and lasting durability.
6. What leather is used?
We use only 100% full-grain leather, selected for its exceptional durability, premium quality, and ability to develop a rich, distinctive patina over time. Locally produced in South Africa.
7. How long is the lead time?
Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, current production time is 10-14 working days, depending on workload. Custom-made items may require additional time.
8. How do I break in the holster?
Leather naturally softens and conforms to your firearm with regular use. Carry your holster as often as possible, and it will gradually break in to provide an even more comfortable and secure fit.
9. Can I order a custom holster?
Yes, we can. Please contact us with your firearm’s make and model, along with details of any accessories or add-ons, so we can confirm compatibility and ensure your holster is custom-made for a precise fit.
10. What belt width fits the holster?
Our holsters are designed to fit a standard 38 mm leather belt. However, we can customise the belt loop to suit your preference, accommodating belt widths from 38 mm up to 50 mm.
11. How do I care for the leather?
We recommend a natural leather treatment to replenish the natural oils and extend its lifespan. We also stock this leather balsam, and because a little goes a long way, one bottle will last a long time. We do not recommend using dubbin, as it seals the leather rather than nourishing it.

18. Do your products come with a warranty?
Yes. We offer a Walkin Limited Lifetime Warranty on leather workmanship, stitching, and hardware, covering repairs or replacement for manufacturing defects. We also provide a 1-Year Warranty on fabrics, linings, Velcro, elastics, nylon hardware (including zippers and buckles), and wallets. Excluding wear and tear.
